The CGCF award certification is designed to provide verifiable proof that an organisation is not only claiming it follows (or plans to implement) green computing facility best practices but that it has actually implemented them.

CGCF is an international certification and can be achieved by organisations with Data Centre facilities anywhere in the world. The Tropicalised version is available for tropical climates. Successful organisations can display their Award and use the Award logo within their corporate marketing material.

The CGCF award (Platinum, Gold or Silver) provides recognition to organisations that are able to demonstrate significant progress in maximising the energy efficiency of their facilities from CGCF Silver all the way to those who meet the requirements for the CGCF Platinum award and may therefore be considered best in class.

Certification Benefits include:

- Receive advice and recommendations for energy efficiency improvement through a comprehensive audit report at the end of the certification process.

- Harness major cost savings through energy efficiency at relatively low CAPEX.

- Prepare for eventual carbon legislation that include carbon taxes.

- Gain industry recognition and public acknowledgement for energy efficiency best practice.

- Distinguish your organisation as an industry leader in environmental sustainability efforts.

Key Assessment Areas include:

- Environmental Conditions

- Energy Management
